These lights are pretty and went up easily. After 3 years in place on outdoor deck railing:1) not super reliable, a couple sections failed intermittently2) some UV degradation, with jacket clouding, but still bright enough3) jacket becomes slightly sticky and attracts dirt4) diameter is a little too small to stay in 1/2" rope light track reliably, fixed with adhesiveWith that said, I'm buying it again.We ordered this december 2018 and they were left out on house for christmas. Would only use them for Christmas and they finally went out after 3 years. Ordered new set this monthThe lights were bright. I bought two but used one. But within 2 weeks a section burned out. Tried to return them but the seller gave me such a hard time..he wouldn't return the one not used and would give me a partial credit only for the defective one. I had to call Amazon. I ended up keeping them because I didn't feel like going thru a dispute with my bank to get my money back. I'll try to salvage the one used, my husband is an electrician and will try to fix the defective one or cut it out..and hope for the best with the other. I won't ever order from here again though. Didn't have all that was supposed to be included with these either..Lights were bright at first but after a year they stopped working.I like the purchase it lights up my carportFirst strand delivered quickly, but with two of the first five sections failing to light up. Upon contacting seller a second strand shipped quickly, and this one works completely. Looks beautiful... But initial quality problems indicate lifetime might be questionable... Will just have to wait and see. Comes with mount clips and 2 extra plugs, but no instructions for cutting or joining. Could be clearer.Can't complain, that's a lot of light for the price. It comes with extra plug in power supplies in case you want to subdivided slash cut it into smaller pieces. It didn't fit exactly right, took some wrangling, but it seems to be working still :-). Mine came with approximately 50 clips. But I ended up using a hundred and fifty so I had to order more. Luckily those are on Amazon too, along with some small screws to install them, (when the staple gun wouldn't work.)Restrung and bunch old spiral Christmas trees with these. Little tricky getting the power cords in and working, but other than that i am very pleased with the result and will be ordering more in the future.
